DR.M.S.RAMAIAH
Dr. M.S. Ramaiah was a prominent Indian philanthropist, visionary, and educationist, known for his immense contribution to the fields of education, healthcare, and social welfare. He founded several institutions under the Gokula Education Foundation.
Driven by a desire to uplift society through quality education, Dr. Ramaiah focused on establishing institutions that catered to both urban and rural communities. His initiatives in healthcare, including the M.S. Ramaiah Medical College and Hospital, have made advanced medical care accessible to thousands of people.
His legacy is characterized by a strong commitment to serving society, ensuring that students from all backgrounds could access education and healthcare facilities. Dr. M.S. Ramaiah’s vision continues to inspire and guide the institutions he established, playing a crucial role in empowering India’s future generations. His contributions have earned him a lasting place as a revered figure in philanthropy and education.

EDUCATION FOR ALL

HEALTHCARE INITIATIVES
Understanding the need for accessible and affordable healthcare, Dr. Ramaiah set up the M.S. Ramaiah Hospital, which offers comprehensive medical services to the community. The hospital’s focus on providing low-cost or free healthcare to economically disadvantaged groups reflected his commitment to ensuring that quality medical care reaches all sections of society. He also initiated medical camps in rural areas, where people could receive treatment and health education at no cost.
RURAL DEVELOPMENTS

DR. M R PATTABHIRAM
Dr. M R Pattabhiram is the son of Shri M S Ramaiah and at a very early age stood shoulder to shoulder with his father in running a 1000 bed Medical College & Teaching Hospital, a Management Institute, and a Law College successfully under the aegis of the Gokula Foundation that was established by his father. Dr. Pattabhiram has more than 4 decades of experience in running educational Institutes and has been a forerunner in the field of education.
Keen to carry forward his illustrious father’s legacy, Dr. Pattabhiram established the M S Ramaiah Foundation in 2007 to impart quality education to the students of the state and nation. Today, the Foundation boasts of a Management College (Ramaiah Institute of Management Studies), a Law College (Ramaiah Institute of Legal Studies), and a Degree College (Ramaiah Institute of Business Studies). Thousands of students have walked through the portals of these Institutions and have made a mark for themselves in their chosen professions.
Along with Mrs. Anitha Pattabhiram, he is the founder trustee of the AMMANA MANE FOUNDATION. Each of his contributions, whether large or small, play a vital role in creating a more equitable and compassionate society. By recognizing the importance of giving back and inspiring others to do the same, he creates a ripple effect that leads to significant positive change.
MRS. ANITHA PATTABHIRAM
Mrs. Anitha Pattabhiram is the daughter-in-law of the illustrious educationist/philanthropist – Dr M. S. Ramaiah and the wife of Dr M. R. Pattabhiram. She is the Trustee of Anitha Pattabhiram Charitable Trust (AMMANA MANE).
Mrs. Anitha Pattabhiram, a home science graduate, has been playing a very active role in establishing the Trust which caters to girl children.
The state-of-the-art facilities developed are the brain child of Mrs. Anitha Pattabhiram and reflects her vision and superior taste for aesthetics. The campus is well equipped with all facilities required.
Mrs. Pattabhiram has concern for the poor and needy, especially children and women, and it is reflected in the numerous programs that she has inspired. She is also highly conscious about preserving our environment and due to her untiring efforts, each year the students of the Institutes under M S RAMAIAH FOUNDATION participate in sapling planting and distribution drives. So far, more than 5000 saplings have been planted/distributed on the occasion of World Environment Day.
Mrs. Pattabhiram has broken the proverbial glass ceiling and has emerged as a successful entrepreneur and educationist, thereby becoming a role model for young girl students of the Foundation. She along with her husband donated an ICU ON WHEELS to Ayodhya Temple Trust recently.
